Kale, Spinach, and Lemon Smoothie

Looking for a quick, healthy snack?  Try a kale, spinach, lemon smoothie!

Ingredients:

5 kale leaves

1 handful of spinach

½ peeled lemon

Need a little more liquid to down the greens?  Add some apple juice.

Still not sweet enough?  Add a few slices of banana.  

No access to a juicer?  No problem!  Mix all ingredients in a blender and strain. 

I’ve also seen this recipe ready-made at local health stores.  Just make sure there is no added sugar!  This fast meal will totally help your skin and metabolism, and give you some energy to boot!  Enjoy!
